This is the second in the Stones and Walls series. The wall is built with both cottons and silks in ivory, some pale pinks, and blues, to give it the feel of a sunny wall. Delphinium flowers are made from silk, and the daisies and roses are cotton. The rose vine is couched yarn, the daisy centers are French knots of rayon thread, and the delphinium flowers are accented with clear iridescent beads. I used one of my favorite doors as the idea for the quilted details. This piece reminds me of an English garden at the front of a grand house.
