32 1/2"x35 - ©2005/07 - 350.00 - This piece came about as part of our first year's challenge "Leaves" for the art quilt group, The Fiber Alliance, I am a member of. All of the colored fabrics are hand-painted or sunprinted by me. Maple leaves were used for the sunprints. The veins in the leaves were put in using wax pastels, using the rubbing technique I learned in kindergarten. The pastels were then heat set with an iron. Machine quilted with free motion quilting. Reproductions and note cards are availible. |
